We have found that many people are coming to us with similar questions, so we are hoping a FAQ page will help clear up some confusion people may be having. You will be able to follow the real questions from others interested in membership, and Jason's personal answers to each question.

Questions & Answers:

1.Annual Points - I see as a Lifetime Member you receive 90 points annually, is there a minimum room requirement for LM (i.e. Sky Suites, Beach Suites) or do the points apply to all rooms?

The points can be used for all rooms with no minimum requirement. You can also use your points for other services around the hotel.

2. Do points carry-over if unused after an annual period?

Points not used are reinbursed with a percentage of annual net profit. Recieved as a divedend in your Las Olas account to be used on your next visit.

3. If points were ever to increase by room type would LM points adjust accordingly?

Your points will always equate to one week in the second level of the new building.

4. Could you please explain restricted fractional ownership dividends? Is this upon resale?

The dividend is a fraction of the net profit annually, and in the case of a sale you would also receive the fraction of your ownership...for example a Lifetime Member owns 1/1000 of las Olas.

5. Do you have an idea on what the Maintenance Fee will be by room? Is this separate from the Housekeeping Fee (i.e. $20/day)?

The housekeeping fee is the mainenance fee. There will be no annual maintenanance fee.

6. If we're to pay online through PayPal I noticed that the fee for LM is $6,000 however in the Business Plan it said if payment is made before Thanksgiving then $5,000. Is there an option to pay just $5,000 in PayPal or is it set? I guess we could just do a separate PayPal transaction to you for $5k.

Just make a seperate payment for $5,000 with the Thanksgiving promo in the notes.

7. Is there an annual fee associated with LM?

No annual fees

8. Can three additional members be added to LM for a cost of $100 each at any time or does that have to be upfront?

You can sign up additional members as you wish. The cost will increase to $150 when we start the building and go to $200 after the building is finished.

9. Could you explain "Refunds are based on six month reimbursement of original purchase price"? If for some reason the project falls through would we receive 100% refund?

Yes you get a 100% refund, and refunds are also available 6 months after the project is finished.

10. Would you be able to you provide a copy of the share holder ownership reservation policies and procedures?

Yes

11. Is there a contract/agreement that you have specific to LM?

We have a basic sales agreement on the legal page on the website. You can contact Crlaw for all other contracts.

12. What is happening with the current structure/rooms? Will we be able to stay there while the new rooms are being built? 

The main building and the 5 rooms will remain. The points scale to all the different rooms around the property, and you can start using your membership immediatel

13. In regards to family or friends that are not additional owners using the property, is it possible to allow friends to use your points without you being there?

Yes, they will pay an additional 10% housekeeping fee to use the points/room

14. Most importantly what type of board can i get made! 

Now to the fun part...send us the dimensions of you perfect Hermosa surfboard, and it will be waiting at Las Olas for you..  We just opened our shaping room 2 weeks ago, and we are shaping boards...yahoooo!!.
